Strip Commentary:
Scott's debut in the comic. His entrance and first words were both his ideas. The hat and goatee were how people here in New Jersey remembered Scott, since he always had them until he moved. Out in Arizona, where Scott lives today, his head has undergone many changes. Side note: Hats are hard to draw.
